Minister Of Transportation Invites Aircraft Manufacturers From China To Invest In Indonesia

Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi invites aircraft manufacturer company from China, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) to invest in developing the aviation industry in the country.

The offer was made by the Minister of Transportation Budi when he met with the Chairman & CPC Secretary of COMAC He Dongfeng in Shanghai, China, Thursday, January 11.

During the working visit, Budi also visited the COMAC aircraft factory to witness the process of making cutting-edge technology aircraft with detailed work.

"We invite COMAC to continue to strengthen partnerships and consider investing in developing the aviation industry in Indonesia," Budi said in an official statement, written Friday, January 12.

At this time, Budi also visited the COMAC Aircraft Operation Support Control Center.

"I emphasize that the production of aircraft really prioritizes safer, more environmentally friendly quality," he said.

In addition, Budi also witnessed the signing of a collaboration between COMAC and domestic airline TransNusa. Where, Transnusa became the first Indonesian airline to use an aircraft made by COMAC.

"We welcome the cooperation between the two parties. This collaboration is expected to further improve the quality of flight services in Indonesia," he said.
