Become A Swimming Coach, Kazakhstan Citizen Deported From Bali

DENPASAR - The Immigration Office Class I TPI Denpasar, Bali, deported a foreign national (WNA) from Kazakhstan named Kirill Kuzmyak.

This foreigner was deported for using his residence permit for being a swimming coach while in Bali.

Head of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Denpasar Tedy Riyandi said the Kazakh citizen entered Indonesia using a Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS) or investor visa but was proven to have abused his residence permit by becoming a swimming coach.

"So that the person concerned is subject to immigration administrative actions in the form of deportation and his name is included in the Denial List," said Tedy, Thursday, January 11.

The deportation was carried out at 10.00 WITA through Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. "With tight supervision by officers," he added.

Tedy emphasized that foreigners who misuse their residence permits have harmed the Indonesian community and economy. Therefore, the Denpasar ITPI Class Immigration Office must take firm action.

"We will not tolerate violations of immigration rules, including the misuse of residence permits. We will take firm action against any violations and deport them if necessary," he said.
