Children In West Muna Who Disappeared By Crocodiles Found Dead
The Joint SAR Team, Kendari Basarnas managed to find a child named Desi (9) who was attacked by a crocodile in the Lemoombo Village River, Kusambi District, West Muna Regency (Mubar), Southeast Sulawesi, dead after several hours of searching.
Head of Basarnas Kendari Muhammad Arafah said the victim was found dead about one kilometer north of the northwest from the scene at 05.30 WITA.
"So, the rescue team arrived at that location at 22.00 WITA and immediately conducted a search with the joint SAR team and managed to find the victim," said Arafah as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.
After being found, the victim was immediately evacuated to the funeral home for the handover process to the family.
"The operation was closed and all elements involved in the search were returned to their respective units," said Arafah.
