Mataram City Government Continues To Collect UN Debt Angkasa Pura For Ex-Alert Airport Land Of IDR 700 Million
The Mataram City Government, West Nusa Tenggara Province, continues to collect receivables for the payment of Land and Building Tax (PBB) PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok International Airport because it has not paid taxes on land for the former Selaparang Airport."The amount of UN receivables in 2023 PT Angkasa Pura I is around Rp700 million and until now we continue to encourage it to be paid immediately," said Head of the Regional Financial Agency Collection and Counseling Service (BKD) Mataram City Achmad Amrin in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, January 10.Moreover, the UN money must be accounted for to the public because it has been approved by the DPRD as money that must be collected for development in Mataram.According to him, the results of the coordination carried out with PT AP I stated that PT AP did not want to pay the 2023 PBB because it was still waiting for clarity from the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the NTB Provincial Government which freed PBB PT AP payments in 2023.Meanwhile, the provincial government only found out that the UN exemption authority was in the Mataram City Government, so it was aware that the provincial government wanted to bear PT AP according to PKS."It's just that the province must have a clear account code to issue a budget worth PT AP's 2023 PBB bill, which is around Rp700 million," he said. However, because there is no certainty, PT AP asked for BPKP mediation with the provincial government because PT AP assessed that NTB Province violated PKS because it had not paid the 2023 PBB."But until now we are waiting for the results of the mediation, whether it has been or has not been implemented we also do not know. Supposedly, we could be involved as sanctions as the injured party," he said.On the other hand, continued Amrin, PT AP has sent a letter requesting a postponement of payment and exemption from fines to the Mataram City Government. The letter from PT AP has been immediately replied to and it was stated that for the postponement of the PBB payment, it was invited, but the law stipulates that if the payment is postponed, the taxpayer will be subject to a fine or a penalty of 2 percent per month from the value of the tax."Meanwhile, for the abolition of fines, we cannot count because there has been no payment, and the bill is still ongoing," he said.Furthermore, Amrin said that the PBB PT AP has not paid off, which had hampered the realization of the 2023 PBB target of IDR 28 billion. But with hard work and optimizing receivable collection with a value not too large with a range of IDR 4 million to IDR 5 million, the 2023 UN target could reach IDR 28.001 billion or 100.01 percent.
"Hopefully, PT AP's UN receivables can be paid immediately so that the 2024 PBB target of IDR 30 billion can be achieved," he said.
