French PM Elisabeth Borne Resigns

JAKARTA - French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne has resigned from her post, according to a post by French President Emmanuel Macron on the X social media platform.

Macron accepted Elisabeth Borne's resignation and expressed his gratitude for her dedication and determination while part of the government, reported by ANTARA from TASS-OANA, Tuesday, January 9.

Elisabeth Borne has led the French Cabinet since May 2022.

According to the Elysee Palace, Bourne and other cabinet members will continue to serve until a new government is formed.
