Threads Add Keyword Search Based On Chronological Time
JAKARTA In November last year, Threads launched a keyword search feature. However, this feature is still limited because users cannot see uploads based on time sequences.
This is certainly a shortfall because platform X, formerly known as Twitter, can sort keyword searches based on two options, namely Top to view uploads based on suggestions and Latest to view uploads based on chronology.
Threads seems to realize that searching for keywords based on time sequences is very useful for users. Therefore, they add the same two keyword search methods as their competing platforms, namely Top and Latest.
Based on the findings of 9to5mac, Threads users must press the triple point at the top of the screen to find Top and Latest options when searching for keywords. This method is certainly different from X, which directly displays search methods in column form.
To try this feature, users must update their Threads app first. Unfortunately, this new feature is only available to iOS users so that Threads users on Android still have to wait a while.

Before this feature was added, Instagram Head Adam Mosseri had said that his company had no intention of presenting a keyword search based on the chronology of time. According to him, it will disrupt security in Threads.
"Having a complete list of every post with a certain word in chronological order (making) the scammers and other criminals meet the display with content simply by adding words or hashtags that are relevant," Mosseri explained through his Threads account.
For this reason, they don't want to make a search for keywords based on the chronology of time. Although this feature is considered a challenge in maintaining security, Threads has finally continued to launch the feature.
