DGT Ready To Launch Core Tax System In Mid-2024

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) will soon launch a tax advanced system, namely the core tax system in mid-2024 after the habituation and testing period is over.

Director of Counseling, Services and Public Relations Dwi Astuti said that his party would be conducting a habituation and testing of the system so that when used there would be no problems and as expected.

"Core tax at this time we continue to carry out Habituation testing that the adjustment of the core tax implementation is because indeed we still need to do time for habituation for testing, because we don't want later when implementing oh this is still lacking testing," he told the media at the Ministry of Finance's DJP Headquarters, Monday, December 8.

"If the system is before it is implemented, it must be tested whether it is in accordance with what we expect or there is still something that needs to be improved," he continued.

Dwi said that the habtuation and testing process is still continuing so it is hoped that by the middle of this year the state-of-the-art tax system will be ready to be launched.

"This is now the process is still ongoing and hopefully in the middle of the year we will be able to implement it immediately. So this is still going on and on. We are even working hard so that this is in accordance with the set schedule," he said.
