During Christmas And New Year, Gasoline Distribution Increases 4.6 Percent And Avtur 10 Percent
JAKARTA - The National Command Post for the ESDM Sector for Christmas 2023 and New Year's Day 2024 noted that during the period of the Christmas Day 2023 and New Year 2024 task force on December 15, 2023 to January 8, 2024, the distribution of fuel in general is in a safe condition.
Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati, as Chair of the National Command Post for the ESDM Sector, reported that the distribution of fuel during the 2023/2024 Naataru Post period compared to the 2022/2023 Nataru Command Post for Gasoline distribution increased by 4.6 percent and Avtur increased by 10 percent.
"Meanwhile, gasoline distribution decreased by 0.4 percent," Erika said at a press conference in Jakarta, January 8.
Furthermore, he detailed, the highest national fuel distribution for homecoming flows occurred on December 23, 2023, by introducing gasoline 15.73 percent of normal distribution.
Meanwhile, the I backflow occurred on December 26, 2023 with an 8.56 percent increase in gasoline from normal distribution and backflow II occurred on January 3, 2024 with an increase in gasoline 9.14 percent from normal distribution.
"The distribution during the Christmas and New Year's Post 2023/2024 period compared to the average normal distribution for gasoline increased by 4.5 percent and avtur increased by 1.8 percent, while gasoline decreased by 3.9 percent," explained Erika.

Erika added, during this post period, 116 fuel terminals, 7,897 gas stations, 5,480 Pertashop and 71 DPPU have been alerted. There are additional fuel services in the form of Alert gas stations, Pertamina Alert, Motorist, and Standby Tank Cars.
"Cooverage days of National Fuel stock ranges from 3 to 64 days," concluded Erika.
