JCI Weakened at the Beginning of Today's Trading, 228 Shares Dropped
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Monday, January 8, 2024 experienced a strengthening of 24.05 points or 0.33 percent to 7,374.67 at 09.15 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.
Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,350.75, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,393.13 and the lowest was 7,358.90. The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 2.67 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.08 trillion. There were 207 shares rising, 228 shares falling, and 224 flat.
As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk (SHID) rose 195 or 19.90 percent to IDR 1,175, PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) rose 130 or 2.91 percent to IDR 4,600, and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) shares rose 150 or 2.33 percent to IDR 6,575.
Meanwhile, among the top losers, PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) fell 175 or 3.15 percent to IDR 5,375, shares of PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) fell 200 or 2.77 percent to IDR 7,025, and shares PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) fell 200 or 3.49 percent to IDR 5,525.
