JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Rapid Response Team on Sunday night noted that there were still 12 sub-districts in the area that were still inundated with a height of between 10 cm and 200 cm.
"The 12 urban villages are spread across seven sub-districts," said South Jakarta BPBD Rapid Response Team Commander Muhammad Nur in an official statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, January 7.
He detailed the areas affected by flooding in South Jakarta, namely South Gandaria, West Cilandak, and Pondok Labu villages in Cilandak District.
Next, Cipulir Village in Kebayoran Lama District; Next, East Cilandak Village in Pasar Minggu District; North Cipete Village in Kebayoran Baru District.
Then, Kali Bata and Duren Tiga sub-districts in Pancoran District; Kuningan Barat, Pela Mampang, and Bangka villages in Pampang Prapatan sub-district.

Nur conveyed that of the 12 areas affected by the flood, the water level (TMA) varied from 10 cm to 200 cm.
"But currently there are three sub-districts that have receded late, namely in Cipulir, South Gandaria, Kalibata, and East Cilandak sub-districts," explained Nur.
He said that the areas experiencing flooding with a water level of up to 200 cm were on Jalan Nis RT 03 and 09, RW 03 in Kelurahan Cilandak Timur. This condition occurred until 17.00 WIB.
Nur added that due to the flood, there was a wall with a height of 4.5 meters collapsing in Jagakarsa Village. The collapse of the wall was due to heavy rain and soil erosion.
Meanwhile, regarding the number of families (KK) and the losses from the flood, BPBD has not stated because it is still in the data collection stage.
"Even so, there are no conditions that endanger humans from this flood," said Nur.
