Anies: President If Kunker Don't Just Meeting, Cultural Delegation Is Also Taken

Presidential Candidate (Capres) number one, Anies Baswedan said that the President must bring a cultural and artistic delegation if he visits a country to promote Indonesia.

"When we were assigned as President of the Republic of Indonesia as commander of diplomacy, every activity abroad was together with cultural delegates, art delegates and came to the centers of cultural and artistic activities in the countries visited," Anies said in the third debate of the presidential election at Istora Senayan, Sunday, January 7.

According to him, the figure of the president is not only a meeting with the leaders of other countries and immediately returns to Indonesia. However, state visits made were inserted with cultural promotions so that all countries would know about it.

"Not only did the meeting come and then go home, but came there to meet cultural arts activities so that they realized that Indonesia was a country rich in culture," he said.

This promotional technique can be done because every Presidential visit will be in the spotlight of all media. So, directly or indirectly, Indonesian culture will be exposed throughout the world.

"Because every president comes with a cultural delegation, it is shown that there is not a meeting and then comes home and in such a way, the world will witness it. Remember every time the president comes to a country, all the media in the country pays attention. That's an extraordinary opportunity to promote Indonesia, and that's what we do until what we have said earlier," said Anies.
