Earthquake Ishikawa: 95 Indonesian Citizens Lost Their Homes
JAKARTA - A total of 95 Indonesian citizens (WNI) lost their homes due to the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that rocked Ishikawa Prefecture on Monday, January 1.
Referring to data from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) Tokyo received in Tokyo, Sunday, January 7, as many as 183 Indonesian citizens (WNI) were affected by the earthquake at nine locations in Ishikawa Prefecture.
170 Indonesian citizens have returned to their respective homes, while 13 people are still in the shelter locations in two locations.
From the results of the search by the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo with the help of community nodes, 95 Indonesian citizens lost their homes, namely 38 people in Ogi, 25 people in Suzu, 27 people in Saikai, and five Wakima people.
Related to this, the Indonesian Ambassador to Japan Heri Akhmadi said that his party distributed logistical assistance to affected Indonesian citizens in the form of mineral water, ready-to-eat food, tissue and other basic necessities.

He added that his party also continues to record Indonesian citizens affected by the earthquake so that their presence and condition of their residence can be known.
Based on information compiled until Saturday, January 6, the earthquake had claimed 110 lives, 414 injuries and 211 people were still missing.
The Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo confirmed that there were no casualties from Indonesian citizens.
