Ahead Of The Third Debate Of The 2024 Presidential Election, Ganjar: It's Ready, God Willing
JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo, presidential candidate number 3, emphasized that he is ready to participate in the third debate of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) which brings together between presidential candidates at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, this Sunday night.
"It's ready, God willing," said Ganjar when giving a statement to the media in the Cakung area, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 6.
On that occasion, Ganjar reminded the public to wait for the second debate for the presidential candidate to listen to what issues he or other candidates will raise.
"Wait for tomorrow's debate," said the Governor of Central Java for the 2013-2018 and 2018-2023 periods.
The theme of the third debate is about defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopoliticals, and foreign politics. The third debate will take place from 19.00 WIB.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud as well as former TNI Commander General TNI Retired. Andika Perkasa believes that Ganjar has the capability as the supreme commander of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Mas Ganjar is a true nationalist who has a clear vision and good governance experience as a member of the DPR and the Governor of Central Java for two terms. I am sure that Mas Ganjar can support the TNI and Polri through modernization while still prioritizing state financial health and the welfare of the apparatus," Andika said in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.
Andika assessed that there were three things that made him confident that Ganjar was able to lead Indonesia in the field of defense and security.
"There are three things that make me sure Mas Ganjar can be a better commander in chief. First, modernizing the main weapon system (defense equipment) that is adaptive to 5.0 technology. Second, the formation of the TNI cyber force, and the third building a world-class defense and security industry selectively in the country," he explained.
