People Ask Airlangga To Continue El Nino's BLT Program Until 2024
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto was asked by the Public to continue El Nino's Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in 2024. This happened when he was distributing Direct Cash Assistance or BLT El Nino in Pabuaran Village, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Initially, Airlangga asked the people of Pabuaran who received BLT El Nino rice. Whether the program needs to be continued or not.
"Do you think you still need this BLT program? ("Require", said the residents) we will stop this program or continue? ("Continue", said the residents)," Airlangga answered with the Pabuaran community.
Airlangga conveyed that he would report the public's request to President Joko Widodo for consideration for the sustainability of the El Nino BLT program in 2024.
"So it's clear that it will be continued, I'll tell the President later. The rice given is 10 kg. Thank God we will continue this rice program, God willing, until June," he said.

Airlangga said that this food aid was given because of the influence of El Nino. So, the Government has two programs, namely BLT in the form of money received in December of Rp. 400 thousand, Apart from BLT, the government also provides basic food assistance in the form of 10 kg of rice per person.
BLT El Nino was disbursed in two stages, namely the first month in November of around Rp. 200 thousand, and in December it was Rp. 200 thousand, so that the total per family received Rp. 400 thousand.
In addition to BLT, the government also provides assistance in the form of 10 kg of rice per person, which will be distributed to a total of 21.8 million recipients. The government divides to nearly 22 million beneficiaries.
