The Mazda MX-5 Miata Roadster Successfully Sold Nearly 9,000 Units During 2023 In The US

JAKARTA - Mazda's legendary roadster model, MX-5 Miata 2023, has received a positive response in the United States, as evidenced by impressive sales figures.

Quoted from the company's official website, Thursday, January 4, this Japanese manufacturer managed to sell 363,354 units of all its models throughout 2023, of which 8,973 units were MX-5 Miata models, showing an increase of 45.4 percent compared to the previous year.

Of Miata's total MX-5 sales during 2023, the MX-5 Roadster variant was the best-selling at 4,591 units, an increase of 77.4 percent from the previous year. Meanwhile, the RF hardtop version contributed sales of 4,382 units or an increase of 22.3 percent.

Meanwhile, the highest sales during 2023 fell to CX-5 which reached a sales figure of up to 153,808 units, an increase of 1.5 percent from the previous one. Next, CX-30 obtained sales in uncle sam country with 77,075 units, an increase of 46 percent.

Complementing the top three, the CX-50 model became another best-selling product from Mazda by producing 44,595 units, an increase of 109 percent from 2022. Then, the CX-90 continued a positive trend in the three-line SUV segment by contributing 30,821 units and completing the top five was Mazda3 with 30,531 sales or an increase of 10 percent.

For pure EV products such as MX-30, only 100 units were able to sell throughout 2023 or decreased by 69.1 percent from 2022 (a total of 324 units).
