Turangga Train 'Bull Fight' With Bandung Local Train, Ministry Of Transportation Sends Team To Location
The Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) sent a team to follow up and evacuate victims related to a train accident in Bandung Regency, West Java.
"In order to follow up and evacuate victims from this incident, DJKA has sent a technical team to secure the scene," said Director General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation Risal Wasal as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 5.
He said the incident involved the Turangga train (KA Plb 65A) with the Greater Bandung Commuterline Train (KA 350).
The bull battle collision occurred in Cikuya District, Cicalengka, Bandung Regency on the Cicalengka-Haurpugur KM 181+700 route on January 5, 2024 at 06.03 WIB.

"The incident location is about 800 meters before the signal for entry to Cicalengka Station," said Risal.
On behalf of the DJKA Ministry of Transportation, Risal expressed his concern and condolences for the victims affected by the incident.
"Further information regarding this incident will be submitted again soon," he said.
