Police Arrest Escape Detainees At Praya Rutan, Central Lombok
A prisoner named Nurhadi (33), a resident of Semoyang Village at the Class II B Praya Detention Center, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) who escaped was finally arrested at his hiding place.
"The escaped detainee has been arrested and handed over to the Praya Detention Center," said Head of the Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Siagian, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 3.
The detainee was secured in one of the houses in East Praya District, after successfully escaping through the air ventilation of one of the detention rooms that was being repaired on Thursday (28/12). Furthermore, his party conducted an investigation and succeeded in securing the perpetrators based on information from residents.
"The perpetrator fled for 5 days and today has been successfully secured," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Class II B Praya Detention Center, Aris Sakuriyadi, said that the stage was escaping from the detention center when there was a lot of visits and at the same time there was indeed an repair of the detention service room.

"So there was one of our detainees entrusted to the Praya District Court (PN) who escaped during a busy visit and indeed we were repairing the room for detention services," he said.
His party ensured that there was no indication of involvement of officers to help the detainees escape.
"I make sure there is no involvement of our officers to help the person concerned. If there is, the sanctions will be waiting," he said.
