Mahfud MD Protests KPU For Simulation Voters In Solo There Are Only 2 Boxes
JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president (cawapres) number three, Mahfud MD protested the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari because there were only two boxes in the voting ballot for the voting simulation distributed in Solo, Central Java. In fact, there are currently three pairs of candidates running.
This highlight occurred after the Liason Officer (LO) of the Solo City PDIP DPC YF Sukasno asked for an example of a simultaneous voting letter from the KPU. He then found out that there were only two columns of presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"I'm complaining, how come it's like this," Mahfud told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, January 3.
Mahfud then received an explanation from Hasyim. He said the correction would be made because the simulation was in collaboration with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) also said that he had suggested that similar incidents should not be repeated. One of them, there must be four boxes.
"Yes, at least 4 (paslon plaids in simulated ballot paper, ed) I said. If not 1, 2, 3, yes 4 so that everything can be opened," he said.
"And that's already the official celebration of Mr. Hasyim to me," continued Mahfud.

"I'm sure ordinary people are smart. Very know strange this kind of simulation," concluded the legal practitioner.
