Muhaimin Promises To Budget IDR 150 Trillion So Young People Are Interested In Farming
JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar said his party together with presidential candidate Anies Baswedan had calculated the budget for the younger generation to be interested in flying into the agricultural sector.
"Actually, for these young people, starting from skills, schools, businesses, working, eating, one unit; we calculated Rp150 trillion," said Muhaimin in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 3.
Muhaimin said this during the "Witip Gus" event with farmers in Bandung Regency, West Java.
According to him, if more and more young children are interested in farming, domestic agricultural production will also increase and be of high quality. So, he continued, this could be a way for Indonesia to be free from imports and become food independent.
