Mitsubishi Will Present Four Latest Models In Malaysia, One Of Them Xforce Made In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Mitsubishi managed to close in 2023 impressively after launching several for global markets, such as Xforce and Triton. However, the manufacturer has no intention of being complacent and has to make the next breakthrough.
One of the markets currently being visited by the company is Malaysia. The manufacturer with the logo of the 'three diamonds' intends to present several models for 2024.
Reporting from Paultan, Wednesday, January 3, the all-new Triton pickup model is said to mark its debut in neighboring country before the end of 2024. It is estimated that Mitsubishi Triton will carry a more flexible two-wheeled (2WD) drive.
Launching in Thailand in June 2023 and returning to Japan this year, the L200 car, with another name L200, carries a 2.4 liter diesel turbo engine that offers a strength of 148 dk and 330 Nm torque, 181 dk and 430 Nm torque, as well as a more powerful power of 201 dk and 470 Nm torque.
Mitsubishi Triton received a very good response in the market as well as marking the return of this series after a 12-year absence.
In addition, Mitsubishi Xforce will also mark its debut in the Malaysian market this year after being officially launched at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The car was built at a factory owned by PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) in Bekasi, West Java, and will be present in several ASEAN market areas.
Xforce is powered by a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16 valve engine with CVT transmission connected to the front wheel (FWD), Mitsubishi XForce capable of generating 104 dk of power and torques reaching 141 Nm.

This Japanese manufacturer also intends to bring the facelift version of Xpander to Malaysia. The appearance of the MPV in this country is quite late because other ASEAN countries, such as Indonesia, have received their units in November 2021 and Thailand since March 2022.

The SUV uses a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder combustion engine that produces 133 ps and 195 Nm of power. The kitchen cooperates with a pair of electric motors on the front with a magnitude of 116 ps and a 255 Nm torque and behind which produces up to 136 ps of power and 195 Nm of torque.
Carrying PHEV technology, this car has the ability to go forward like a pure Electric Vehicle (EV) thanks to a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery capable of producing a range of up to 87 km. It is suspected that this model will arrive in Malaysia even stronger after the SUV was caught on camera round the local highway some time ago.
