Facebook Launches Link History Feature On Mobile Devices

JAKARTA Facebook, a platform under the auspices of Meta, has launched a Link History feature to view a collection of links that have ever been opened. This feature is specially created for app versions.

According to the Facebook aid page, this feature will be available to all Android and iOS devices globally. However, the launch will be carried out in stages so that not all countries can feel the features for now.

By using Link History, Facebook users can see the various websites they click directly from the Facebook app. This history is only stored for thirty days, after which the system will delete it automatically.

When this feature is enabled, Facebook says that Link History will save all websites it has ever visited. However, this system does not apply to websites that are opened via chat on Messenger.

To enable this feature, users need to update their Facebook app first. After that, open the app and tap any link from the app to open Facebook's Cellular Browser.

If it is open, tap the horizontal three-dot at the bottom right of the screen, then tap the Browser Settings. Once open, users can immediately activate the Link History menu by pressing toggle button.

Facebook will ask for confirmation before Link History is enabled. Make sure to click Allow the toggle button to turn blue. If the user wants to turn off the feature, just click toggle button until it turns gray.
