Astra Tol Cipali Records 98,116 Vehicles Passing During The 2024 New Year Holiday Backflow

JAKARTA - The operator of the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road or Astra Tol Cipali noted that 98,116 vehicles had crossed the toll road at the peak of the backflow of the 2024 New Year long holiday.

"In total there are 98,116 vehicles crossing Astra Tol Cipali on the backflow this time," said Head of the Operations Division of Astra Tol Cipali Sri Mulyo in a written statement, Tuesday, January 2.

Sri said, with this increase, the Cipali Toll Astra section has been passed by more than 1.3 million vehicles since the D-7 Christmas Holiday 2023.

"This figure increased by 14.43 percent compared to the total number of vehicles passing in the same period of time in 2022, which is 1,188,832 vehicles," he said.

In an effort to unravel the traffic density (traffic), Astra Tol Cipali together with the police have implemented One Way traffic engineering starting from KM 188-KM 72 towards Jakarta, on Monday, January 1, 2024 at 19.24 WIB.

One Way traffic engineering was declared complete on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 03.03 WIB and later it could be considered for re-implementation according to the traffic flow in real time and directions from the police.

The implementation of the toll tariff discount will end at 23.59 on the same day.
