SRAGEN - A number of areas in Sragen Regency, Central Java were submerged in water due to long rains on Monday January 1. As a result of the incident, there were dozens of houses that were submerged in water with an altitude of about 0.5-1.5 meters. "Yesterday several areas were rained with light to moderate intensity. The time was a bit long, from afternoon to night, so the river might overflow," said Triyono, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2. His party noted that in Sidoharjo Village, the flood hit four RTs in Dukuh Wirun and in Dukuh Sine, there were also four affected RTs.

For houses affected by the flood, there were 66 units with 66 families consisting of 190 people. "The water level varies, some 50 cm, some up to 1-1.5 meters," he said. Currently, he said, the water has started to recede, even in some areas it has disappeared. "This morning in Hamlet Wirun and Kampung Ngagin the road is still flooded, the height is 10-30 cm," he said.
