Kapolda Says 11 Police Members In Banten Fired Throughout 2023
JAKARTA - The Banten Regional Police (Polda) have dishonorably dismissed (PTDH) or been fired during 2023. This is because they committed a criminal act. "Most of the personnel who were decided to be sanctioned by PTDH for committing a crime of drug abuse," said Banten Police Chief Inspector General Abdul Karim quoting Antara. He said that the number of Banten Police personnel who were fired as members of the National Police this year experienced an increase compared to 2022 which was recorded as only eight people. "The number of PTDHs against this ranks of members is more than three people compared to 2022," he said. In addition, there were also 302 cases of disciplinary violations and the Police code of ethics during 2023, which also increased compared to 282 cases last year. Meanwhile, for the violation of the code of ethics there were 81 cases, of which in 2022 was only 70 cases.
