Anies-Muhaimin Offers Directed City Management, There Are 14 Priority Cities

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar will make guidelines for local governments related to city management which is directed towards a growth center if elected in the 2024 presidential election.

"Currently, the government does not have a 'guideline' (guideline) in managing the city systematically," said National Team Spokesperson for AMIN Sulfikar Amir as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 29.

He said that if the Anies-Muhaimin pair was elected, it would be certain that city development would have clear guidelines.

According to Sulfikar, the AMIN pair will focus on increasing the 40 cities in Indonesia so that they are even better in terms of services to the community.

Sulfikar continued the 40 city program and 14 priority cities owned by the AMIN pair are expected to increase the comfort of the residents who live in it.

"Later on, public interests and the needs of citizens will be the main reference in carrying out urban development," he said.

The increase in the 40 cities in question is by improving public transportation services, easy access to clean water, access to health and others.

In addition, said Sulfikar, the concept of 40 cities and 14 cities priorities is a division of cities that have been neglected by the government.

"Who doesn't want the city to be comfortable, because there is public transportation so people don't have to get tired of riding motorbikes, access to clean water is easy, and access to health is better," he said.
