Boxer Gervonta Davis Officially Converts To Convert And Changes Name
JAKARTA The United States boxer, three-class world champion, Gervonta Davis, officially converted to Islam. He decided to convert to Islam under the name Abdul Wahid.
Davis decided to start his new journey by saying the sentence of creed in Maryland on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2023.
The certainty of the boxer entering Islam was known from the official upload of the Al-Hidayah Mosque on social media X.

Davis is not the only leading boxer who decided to convert. Previously, a similar decision had been made by boxing legendima Clay alias Muhammad Ali.
