Paying Debt Due Tempo, INKP Pays Basic Bonds And Sukuk Of IDR 584 Billion
JAKARTA - Sinar Mas Group paper producer issuer, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) paid off the principal of sustainable bonds III phase III in 2022 series A amounting to Rp398.81 billion.
INKP Corporate Secretary Heri Santoso said that the principal repayment included Sustainable Sukuk Mudharabah II Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper phase III in 2022 series A amounting to Rp186.15 billion. That way, the principal amount of bonds and sukuk that must be repaid is Rp584 billion.
"For the payment on December 27, 2023 to bond holders and sukuk," said Hendra in his official statement, Thursday, December 28.
Previously, Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper had provided funds used to pay the principal of two bonds and one mudharabah which matured in December 2023.
Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper will pay off bonds and sukuk when maturing in cash and cash equivalents. The value paid is in accordance with the value of bonds and sukuk
Previously, INKP Management said there were three types of debt, namely Shelf-Registered Bonds I INKP Phase III Year 2020 Series B, Shelf-Registered Bonds III INKP Phase III Year 2022 Series A, and Shelf-Registered Sukuk Mudharabah II INKP Phase III Year 2022 Series A.
"We have prepared funds for the principal payment of bonds and sukuk when maturing which is placed in the form of cash and cash equivalents," the management wrote in an information disclosure.
Based on data from the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) recorded Shelf-Registered Bonds I INKP Phase III Year 2020 Series B with a principal amount of Rp2.46 trillion and offered a fixed interest of 10 percent due on December 11.

Finally, Sukuk Mudharabah Berkelanjutan II INKP Phase III Year 2022 Series A also matured on the same date, namely December 26, 2023. The amount of sukuk funds is IDR 186.15 billion.
In addition, the company also explained that INKP does not yet have a plan to pay off bonds with new debts from banks, issuance of bonds/sukuk or other financial institutions.
