Visiting North Sulawesi Melonguane Market, Jokowi Is Warmly Welcomed By Residents And Traders

NORTH SULAWESI - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Melonguane Market, Talaud Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province (Sulut), Thursday 28 December

Jokowi arrived at around 12.40 WITA, greeted enthusiastically by the people who had been waiting for the presence of the Head of State.

"Mr President, welcome to Talaud," exclaimed the public, in a written statement confiscated by Antara, Thursday, December 28.

Arriving there, Jokowi then toured the Melonguane Market area while greeting the traders as well as checking the prices of a number of basic necessities.

During his visit, the Head of State also distributed a number of aids, one of which was basic food assistance.

After the President left the market, the crowd gathered on the side of the road also greeted Jokowi.
