Firli Bahuri Asked 22 Questions About Assets In Yogyakarta To Sukabumi That Were Not Registered By LHKPN

The head of the inactive Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, has finished undergoing examination as a suspect in a series of cases of alleged extortion against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

Investigators asked 22 questions about assets that were not registered with the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN).

"In the examination or request for additional information against the suspect today, investigators asked 22 questions to the suspect FB," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Wednesday, December 27.

Dozens of questions, said Trunoyudo, were about assets whose holdings used the personal names, wives, children and families of Firli Bahuri which were not reported in the LHKPN. The assets are spread across several parts of Indonesia.

"Among them are assets located in Yogyakarta (Battul and Sleman), Sukabumi, Bogor, Bekasi and Jakarta," said Trunoyudo.

In addition, the purpose of additional examination of Firli Bahuri was to fulfill his request to add a new witness to the relief or a de charge that had been explained in the suspect's Examination Minutes on December 1, 2023.

On the other hand, Trunoyudo said that based on the BAP on December 1, there were 4 witnesses a de charge that had been submitted by Firli.

Two of them have been questioned by investigators on December 12. Meanwhile, the other refused and the rest asked for a postponement of the examination.

"The follow-up plan is to coordinate with the prosecutor at the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office regarding the follow-up to the results of the case file research by the public prosecutor," said Trunoyudo.
