Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs Ensures That Lukas Enembe's Health Services Meet The Standards
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD ensured that the services and access to health and prison conditions of the late Papua Governor Lukas Enembe had met the standards.
This was conveyed by Mahfud in response to questions in the community regarding services and access to health, as well as prison conditions during Lukas' sentence to death.
"No, it meets all standards. When it is included there is already a Ministry of Health, there is a TNI, there is a BIN, there is a police, everyone has joined. I am the one who chaired the meeting. Health must be number one, right?" Mahfud said in Sukabumi, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 27.
"Ka;au ada yang tidak percaya, siap saja dicek. Kalau pemerintah sudah benar itu."
Mahfud also said that the government's steps towards the former Governor of Papua for the two periods were also influenced by the illness suffered by Lukas.
"And indeed the disease has been like that for a long time, hasn't it? So we provide special services, transported by special plane, we serve every time we want to go to the hospital, the doctor please choose for himself. However, don't leave Indonesian territory," he said.
"That's true and it's been a long time. It's been years too," said Mahfud.
