Gibran 'Selepet' Cak Imin: Used To Support IKN Cut Tumpeng, Not Because Of Anies' Deputy

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka'selepet' Cawapres number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin related to the development of the State Capital (IKN) in the vice presidential debate held by the KPU at the Jakarta Convention Center, Friday, December 22, evening.Gibran questioned Cak Imin's changing political attitude, where in the past he supported and even participated in inaugurating IKN, but today refused after being promoted by the Change Coalition. Gibran also considered that the General Chairperson of the PKB was inconsistent with his political stance."I remember very well that Gus Muhaimin had participated in inaugurating and cutting the cone at IKN. How is this inconsistent, in the past he supported now, not because he was the deputy of Mr. Anies who carried the theme of change," said Gibran in a debate, Friday, December 22, evening. The mayor of Solo then reminded Cak Imin that IKN is not only building government buildings, but also equitable development as a symbol of the transformation of Indonesia's development. Not only Cak Imin, Gibran also poked at Vice Presidential Candidate number 3, Mahfud MD. The reason is, Mahfud said that no investors have entered to fund IKN.
"And for Prof. Mahfud, maybe later after returning from the debate, there can be a lot of (investors) in Google, Mayapada, Agung Sedayu and later it will be added maybe after the presidential election, because surely they are waiting and see, seeing political stability in Indonesia," said Gibran.
