TKN Fanta Invites ITB Alumni To Encourage Other Universities To Support Prabowo-Gibran To Win One Round
JAKARTA - The Commander of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Arief Rosyid Hasan, invited ITB alumni to encourage other university alumni to win candidate pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in one round in the 2024 presidential election.
This was said by Arief in the Consolidation of the Prabowo-Gibran Victory with the theme "The Role and Conunity of ITB for Prabowo-Gibran One Round" which was held by Gajah Volunteer Gibran at the Secretariat of TKN Fanta HQ, Menteng, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 20.
Arief said the involvement of the college alumni community could be an additional force in Prabowo-Gibran's winning effort.
"Hopefully after Gajah Gibran starts heating up his engine, we can target or embrace other college alumni," Arief said by interactive phone.
Reflecting on the experience in the 2019 presidential election, Arief continued, the large support of university alumni has proven successful in leading President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to win the presidential election for the second time. Therefore, according to Arief, the support of university alumni is quite meaningful for the Prabowo-Gibran pair.
"The amount of support for university alumni in 2019 supporters of Pak Jokowi who made psychologically confident from the team could get bigger. Moreover, our ideals are that in the last 55 days Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran have won one round," explained Arief.
Arief also believes that Prabowo-Gibran can win the 2024 presidential election with one round. This, he said, was based on a number of results from the electability survey of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates who put the candidate pair number 2 in the top position.
"If we use Kompas data of around 39 percent, if we use Indicators, LSI up to Poltracking, the figure has been calculated at 45-47 percent. This means that around 4 percent more we can win one round," said Arief.
"So that no matter how small our efforts to encourage these numbers to grow, it will shorten the political contestation, which has recently intensified provocations, the more slander," he added.

Therefore, Arief ensured that his party would continue to strive to increase strength by embracing elements of young people, one of which was the college alumni community.
"Hopefully all of us can focus on expanding friendship, we can develop relationships other than from ITB alumni, we can invite friends from alumni of the University of Indonesia, Trisakti University, and other campuses," concluded Arief.
