Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming Volunteer Apologizes For Installing Banners At Bhayangkara Hospital, Banten Police
Following up on the viral video circulating on social media regarding the Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming banner, which was attached to the wall of the fence next to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Banten, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol. Didik Hariyanto, gave an explanation.
"The banner installation is right next to the victory house which is located side by side with the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Banten Police," said Didik, in a written statement, Wednesday, December 20.
"Currently, the banners of one of the candidate pairs and vice presidential candidates have been removed by the volunteers concerned. The removal was carried out on Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2023, after receiving a warning from Bawaslu," added Didik.
Didik also said that the volunteers had apologized to the Police and Bawaslu.

"The volunteer admitted that he did not know about the prohibition of posting banners on the fence of the hospital. So he apologized to all those who were harmed," said Didik.
Furthermore, Didik said that the Serang City Bawaslu had reprimanded the Vice Presidential Candidate volunteers in order to remove the banners they installed themselves. Because, hospitals to educational institutions, must be clean from the 2024 Election Campaign Performance Tool (APK) as stated in KPU Regulation number 15 of 2023 and the change is number 20 of 2023.
"This is a public facility that must be clear from the APK, so it is clear that the rules are not allowed. We urge this, we prevent it, so that there are no further violations, then as the installer, the volunteer revokes himself as a form of responsibility for his actions," concluded Didik.
