Ganjar When Asked To Joget And Don't Be Serious During Campaign: No, No, No
JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo stated that he did not want to use the dance game while campaigning.
He said this while attending the Food and Agriculture Summit III and the Indonesian Presidential Candidate Dialogue 2024-2029 at the IPB Convention Center, Bogor. Initially, Ganjar said that someone had asked him for a campaign in a way that was not serious but he refused.
"'Pak Ganjar, the style is not a serious campaign, there are dancing'. Ah, no, ah, no," said Ganjar at the event which was greeted by laughter from the audience there.
Ganjar assessed that politics that prioritizes truth must be done. "Political urgency, which people say is not dirty, is difficult but I have to do it," said the former Governor of Central Java.
Moreover, each politician has an obligation to provide education. This is even regulated in the Political Party Law.
Therefore, Ganjar feels that he prioritizes providing political education while campaigning. "That you don't like me, that's okay," he said.
"But my obligation is to carry out that, 'this is political'. Yes, we can," continued Ganjar.
