Tomorrow Jokowi Will Groundbreaking A Number Of Projects At IKN

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will make a working visit to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20.

At IKN, the head of state will place the first stone or groundbreaking for a number of private absorption projects to the government.

"Tomorrow morning there will be Groundbreaking from several private, from the institution, and from the government," said President Jokowi in accordance with the inauguration of the Otista Jembatan in Bogor City, Tuesday, December 19.

According to Jokowi, stakeholders are enthusiastic about building facilities in both business zones, health zones and sports zones.

"I think we continue to go to IKN. We have many groundbreakings to encourage others to start immediately," Jokowi continued.

Previously, Deputy Chief Authority of IKN Dhony Rahajoe said the groundbreaking phase of the third IKN project would take place in the third week of December 2023.

According to Donny, as many as seven projects will groundbreaking in the three IKN projects. The value of the project is estimated to have entered the government reaching Rp. 10 trillion.

"The plan is for the 3rd week of December 2023. It is proposed and the plan for the construction of 17 projects is being finalized," he told reporters, Sunday, October 10.

The groundbreaking of local private investors at IKN has been going on for 2 periods, namely phase 1 in September 2023, and stage 2 1-3 November 2023.

Of the two processions, the investment value that has been successfully pocketed by the government is around Rp. 35 trillion. With the groundbreaking session 3, the total investment that comes in throughout 2023 is projected to reach Rp 45 trillion.
