Police Seize Airsoft Gun From 2 Student Brothers And Gangs Of Robbers In Sumbawa

The Sumbawa Police Criminal Investigation Unit team, West Nusa Tenggara confiscated an airsoft gun.

From the arrests of two students with the initials RA (23) and DA (25) who were suspected of being involved in the robbery.

Head of the Satreskrim Polres Sumbawa Iptu Regi Halili said his party confiscated the airsoft gun from the active arrest of the two perpetrators at his home in Leseng Village, Moyo Hulu District.

"So from the confessions of the two perpetrators, this airsoft gun was used to threaten the victim in the robbery on Friday (15/12) afternoon. Where did he get this airsoft gun, we are still investigating the two perpetrators," said Regi.

In addition to the airsoft gun, the police in the arrest that took place on Sunday (17/12), confiscated a sword and cash from the robbery. The money was found under the seat of RA's vehicle stored at the house of his colleague with the initials OP.

Regi explained that the arrests of the two students who were brothers were the result of the development of the confession of the perpetrator who was still a student with the initials APM (17) from Leseng Village, Moyo Hulu District.

"From APM's confession, it was revealed that the robbery was carried out with three of his colleagues. Apart from RA and DA, there is another SRW whose status is also a student," he said.

Against SRW who is also from Leseng Village, an arrest has been made. Now the four perpetrators with one of them still have the status of children who have been detained at the Sumbawa Police Station.

"So we have secured the four perpetrators and evidence of money and two units of vehicles and clothes used during the action at the office," he said.

On Friday (15/12) afternoon, the four perpetrators entered the office to take the money in the safe.

The youth gang brought Rp26.6 million in cash after pointing a sword and airsoft gun at the victim who was an employee at the office.

From the results of the examination, it was also revealed that three of the four perpetrators had carried out similar actions and managed to reap a profit of Rp. 30 million.

"It's just that for the TKP (scene) of Rp. 30 million, we still match it with the police reports that have entered the police level. This is our development material," said Regi.
