BYD Officially Launches Song L To Challenge Tesla Model Y, Prices Start At IDR 441 Million
JAKARTA - The automotive giant from China, namely BYD, officially launched the Song L model at a price of 189,000 yuan to 249,000 yuan (IDR 411 million to IDR 542 million).
Quoted from the Carnewschina page, Monday, December 18, this car has started pre-sales since last October 31, and has recorded 28,350 orders.
Present as a challenger for the Tesla Model Y, this fastback SUV comes with an all-electric 3.0 e-platform and packs a lot of BYD technology, including the Disus-C suspension system, CTB battery integration technology (cell-to-body), to frameless doors aka hidden.
In terms of dimensions, this modern design car has 4,840 mm x 1,950 mm x 1,560 mm (PxlxT) which is present in five color options, Orange, Light Blue, White, Black and Gray.

Meanwhile, in the cabin, BYD Song L is equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen screen screen, 10.25-inch instrument panel and head up display. Interestingly, to increase the comfort of the seat, BYD Heart Integrated Sport Seats is presented.
Regarding the kitchen runway, each BYD Song L variant is equipped with a different battery with a capacity of 71.8 kWh or 87.04 kWh. The cruising power is offered from 550 km to 662 km.
Talking about BYD entering the Indonesian market is also getting stronger, some of its models have even been seen being tested on inner roads and toll roads. Of course, it is possible that these models will also be launched in the future.
