Consistently Implementing Sustainable GCG, Jasa Marga Wins These Two Awards
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk won awards at the 3rd Indonesia TOP GCG Award 2023 and 3rd Best Corporate Secretary Awards 2023.
This is proof of Jasa Marga's consistency in implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in every line of company business.
Jasa Marga's award category in the two events, namely the Indonesia TOP GCG Award 2023 for the Transportation Infrastructure Category and the Indonesia Best Corporate Secretary Awards 2023 for the Transport Infrastructure Operator Category.
This award is based on the assessment of the implementation of effective and sustainable GCG principles on Jasa Marga which aims to optimize value and increase the company's competitiveness.
"I represent Jasa Marga's management to thank you for the award given. Thank God, this proves and also reminds us that all the efforts made by Jasa Marga have been related to the implementation of the GCG on the track," said PT Marga Lingkar Jakarta President Director Ari Wibowo in a written statement, quoted Monday, December 18.
Ari said this would be a mandate for Jasa Marga in the future, so that it could continue to improve the GCG of sustainable companies in developing business and improving services for the community.
"This award is also a stimulus to advance the company's reputation, where the GCG aspect cannot be separated from the services provided so that it becomes a benchmark for investors, stakeholders to the wider community," he said.
The awards given to Jasa Marga are based on two indicators of GCG implementation, including Financial Statement and Organizational Structure and Shareholders.
From these indicators, a search was carried out on the company's documents and information.
In addition, a search was also carried out using a media monitoring approach to see aspects of the realization of GCG activities carried out by companies through corporate strategy.
