JCI Opens Drops to 7,167.57, 212 Shares Weaken

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Monday 18 December 2023 weakened 23.41 points or 0.33 percent to 7,167.57 at 09.15 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,190.71, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,191.87 and the lowest was 7,143.97.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 2.60 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.43 trillion.

There were 200 stocks up, 212 stocks down, and 215 stocks flat.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Indointernet Tbk (EDGE) rose 300 or 5.00 percent to IDR 6,300, PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) rose 300 or 4.98 percent to IDR 6,325, and shares of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) rose 725 or 5.66 percent to IDR 13,525.

Meanwhile, those who entered the ranks of the top losers were PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) which fell 200 or 2.11 percent to IDR 9,300, shares of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk (WIIM) fell 170 or 5.72 percent to IDR 2,800, and shares of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) fell 120 or 4.29 percent to IDR 2,680.
