Listen To The Aspirations Of Rembang Residents, Kaesang: Later I Will Leave It To Pak Prabowo And Mas Gibran

JAKARTA - PSI General Chairperson (Ketum) Kaesang Pangarep listened to the aspirations and problems of fishermen in Rembang City during his political safari to Central Java (Central Java) on Sunday 17 December.

"You and your mother are fishermen here, so I ask that there are one or two who want to move forward, ask what they are," said Kaesang during a discussion with the fishermen in the area.

In the discussion, several fishermen conveyed a number of problems, ranging from licensing issues, shipping, increasing fuel to related ship taxes.

Other problems raised by fishermen were also related to the drastic drop in fish prices, while the operation of raw materials for fishermen's supplies and ice prices also rose.

"From the information we received, the price of fish fell because there was no demand for exports because Vietnam and India (was) in season (fish)," said Khairul Masduki, one of the fishermen in Rembang related to the decline in domestic fish prices.

The fishermen hope that the future government can really understand and find solutions to the problems they face by choosing a minister who really understands and understands fisheries and marine.

On that occasion, Kaesang promised to accommodate all the problems conveyed by the fishermen and would convey them to the presidential and vice presidential candidates who were also promoted by PSI, namely Prabowo-Gibran.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you, I have accommodated everything. Later I will hand it over to Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran. Later we will convey it directly. If not, I'll ask him to come here, it's also good," said Kaesang.

Kaesang's visit to farmers in Rembang was part of a series of political safaris that he carried out from 16-20 December 2023, to listen to the aspirations of the community.

Since serving as PSI General Chair, Kaesang has been aggressively carrying out political safaris to a number of regions in the country.

Before going to Central Java, Kaesang also conducted a political safari to Medan, Kupang (East Nusa Tenggara), Manado (North Sulawesi), Bandung (West Java), several areas in Java and Jakarta.
