Indonesian Bawaslu Handles 777 Reports Of Alleged Violations During Election Stages
JAKARTA - The Indonesian General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) has followed up on 777 cases of alleged violations during the 2024 General Election. Later we will also convey the number of violations," explained Lolly.Furthermore, Lolly explained that one of the alleged election violations reported to Bawaslu was the destruction of campaign props (APK). The third APK pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates were also targeted for destruction."We need to convey, this is an election crime. In this context, several regencies and cities have conveyed to the Indonesian Bawaslu that there was an incident, both in candidate 1, candidate pair 2, and candidate pair 3, the destruction," explained Lolly.Among several cases of vandalism by the APK, Lolly admitted that his party did not have sufficient information regarding the chronology of the incident.
