Sightings Of Firli Bahuri's Case Files Extorting SYL, The Thickness Is Almost 1 Meter

Polda Metro Jaya handed over the case files of suspect Firli Bahuri, in the case of alleged receipt of gratuities or extortion against former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati), today.

Based on the photo received by VOI, the case file for the inactive Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is very thick. In fact, it reaches 1 meter.

"(The thickness) is about 0.85 meters," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to VOI, Friday, December 15.

The thick case file was stated in the statements of 104 witnesses. Then, there is also the opinion of 11 experts.

"In detail, there are 4 criminal law experts, 2 procedural law experts, 1 expert or expression mikor expert, 1 multimedia expert, 1 criminologist, 1 forensic psychologist," said Ade.

Firli Bahuri was officially named a suspect based on the results of the case title conducted on Wednesday, November 22, afternoon.

In this case, Firli Bahuri is suspected of being under Article 12 e or Article 12 B or Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended and supplemented by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office has prepared four research prosecutors to examine the completeness of the case file for the alleged extortion of the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, with the suspect KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.

"Kejati DKi has prepared four research prosecutors related to the SPDP for alleged extortion of former Minister of Agriculture SYL," said Head of the Information and Law Section of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Ade Sofyan.
