BWF World Tour Finals 2023 Results: Bagas/Fikri Defeat Make Fajar/Rian Make Sure To Win Group B

JAKARTA - Indonesian men's doubles, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, must accept defeat to Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen at the 2023 BWF World Tour Finals. Even so, this defeat resulted in sweet fruit for their compatriots, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian.

Appearing at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo Center in Hangzhou, China, on Friday, December 15, 2023, Bagas/Fikri lost in two straight games. They fell from Kim/Anders with a final score of 17-21 and 6-21.

After the interval, there was no significant change in terms of Bagas/Fikri's game and instead made Kim/Rasmussen able to win five points in a row and lead 16-4.

Kim/Rasmussen without difficulties mean winning match points at 20-6 and immediately finishing the match at the first chance with a 21-6 win.

Kim/Rasmussen's victory also had an impact on Fajar/Rian's position. Fajar/Rian were confirmed to be the group winners after the Danish representative defeated Bagas/Fikri.

Fajar/Rian lead the game difference (5-2) against Kang Min-hyuk/Seo Seung-jae (5-3), and Kim/Rasmussen (4-3) when the three both bagged two wins.
