Support Equal Digital Accessibility, Indosat Holds IDCamp Virtual Bootcamp For Disabilities 2023

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) continues to support digital literacy accessibility and inclusion evenly in Indonesia, by reorganizing the IDCamp Virtual Bootcamp for Disabilities 2023.

Online training intended for developers with special needs, so that they can still get the same rights in digital literacy and access is held precisely with the commemoration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

"Through IDCamp Virtual Bootcamp for Dissabilities, we are trying to provide solutions for people with disabilities who often face challenges in participating in learning programs," said Steve Saerang, SVP - Head of Corporate Communications Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison in his official broadcast quoted Friday, December 15.

Through this initiative, Steve also hopes that later they can help dig deeper into potential and open the door of opportunities for brothers and sisters with disabilities.

"We are also proud to be able to take part in this useful program. This learning process is one of the keys, which can be used to expand opportunities to develop a more inclusive digital transformation ecosystem for Indonesian people with disabilities," said the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno.

Sandi also added, "Through this program, all participants can implement their knowledge so that they have a better chance of having a career in technology and the future."

Indosat Digital Camp (IDCamp) is back in collaboration with Dicoding, Google Developers Authorized Training Partner in Indonesia, with the theme "AI Foundations: Briging the Programming Gap".

Program ini telah membuka kesempatan bagi 38 penerima scholarship berkempatan khusus untuk belajar coding secara online. Hingga 2022, lebih dari 182 ribu peserta, termasuk 2.200 peserta disfabel, telah menerima manfaat.
