Beyoncé Closes To Billionaire Status Thanks To Tours And Renaissance
JAKARTA - Beyoncé is approaching the billionaire status thanks to the 'Renaissance' tour and the concert film.
According to a new Forbes magazine estimate, the singer's net worth has increased by nearly 300 million US dollars this year to 800 million US dollars.
Beyoncé's huge increase in net worth came from its tour, which took place from May to October and reached 39 cities in 17 countries, with revenues of 579 million US dollars.
This makes it one of the highest gross revenue tours ever.
Another dollar-contributing stream is Renaissance: A recently released film By Beyonde, which he wrote, directorial, and production.
This happened even though the film experienced a sharp decline in American box office a week after its release.
The film originally topped the US domestic box office after its release on December 1. However, has now dropped to fifth after making $5 million on the second weekend, down 77 percent.

Now its total revenue in the US is 28 million US dollars and 33 million US dollars globally.
It came after Renaissance initially stormed the US box office, generating $21 million in North America at the weekend of its opening.
However, the amount is well below the recently-producing film Eras Tour Taylor Swift's $ 92.8 million on the weekend of its opening and earning $250 million globally during its broadcast.
