Not Being A Spotlight In The First Debate, Ganjar: The Important Thing Is That The Message Comes In

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate (candidate) number three, Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he had no problem even though he was not in the spotlight during the presidential candidate's inaugural debate. For Ganjar, the most important thing is that his work program can be submitted to the public with the time given by the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"The important thing is that the content comes in, the important thing is the message comes in," said Ganjar to reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, December 14.

Ganjar explained that in the inaugural presidential candidate debate, the substance that must be considered by the candidates is to provide political education for the community. Do not let the event to convey the work program be just a spectacle.

This is not just a spectacle but a message of political education so that people have a preference to choose. People will know how consistent they are (candidates, ed), what their experience is, how to track their records," he said.

"And it will be seen from all the completeness in each (candidate, red) when answering or asking questions about this, I find this interesting," continued the former Governor of Central Java.

As previously reported, the KPU held its inaugural debate on Tuesday, December 12. The themes prepared are law, human rights (HAM), government, eradication of corruption, and strengthening democracy.

At that time, three presidential candidates agreed to eradicate corruption. In addition, they argued to each other about a number of predetermined issues.

Next, the KPU will hold a second debate on December 22. The themes raised are defense, security, geopolitical, and international relations.
