Ganjar: Roadmap Indonesia Doesn't Have To Join Other Countries

Presidential candidate (candidate) number three, Ganjar Pranowo emphasized that Indonesia must be able to stand alone. Countries must be able to manage their potentials such as geothermal, wind, sea waves, and natural gas which can be an alternative source of energy that other countries do not have. This was conveyed by Ganjar when giving a speech at the Indonesian Consultant Association (INKINDO) today, Thursday, December 14. The former Governor of Central Java also emphasized that Indonesia should not follow other countries when creating roadmaps for development.“Roadmap we don't have to follow the wishes of other countries. We don't have to be the same as other people, we have to measure clothes according to our own bodies. Once fit with our bodies then we can partner with other people,” said Ganjar at the Grand Sahid Hotel, Jakarta.Ganjar emphasized that Indonesia must have its own characteristics in its roadmap because of its condition."The condition in Indonesia is different from in other countries that have implemented this strategy," he said."So, Ganjar hopes that INKINDO can enrich Indonesia's roadmap, including helping to alleviate the middle income trap. “Please, if we wish, we will input it if you are willing to provide input on the roadmap,” he said."How about a green economy, a blue economy, and a creative economy that is a new economic potential for us to jump," he continued. In particular, INKINDO was also asked to provide a study in the energy sector because Indonesia needed a roadmap for transition. Some input that can be done is when and how to take it."Father, ladies and gentlemen, you can have a choice from anyone, but as a presidential candidate I ask you if you wish, convey the sectoral recommendations from INKINDO to me," said the former Governor of Central Java.
This is something concrete and if it is realized, allow it to fit, test each other to be legal. So that in planning, the role of consultants is important, not as long as we make it piled up, ” concluded Ganjar.
