Make Sure 5 Bodies At Unpri Medan Caveder, Police: It's Been Used Since 2008

JAKARTA - The North Sumatra Regional Police confirmed that the five bodies found at the Prima Indonesia University (Unpri) Medan were cadevers.

"I want to make sure the five bodies are cadevers," said North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General (Irjen) of the Great Police Setya Imam Effendi at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, Medan, Thursday, December 14, confiscated by Antara.

He said the cadver at the private Medan university was for the practical needs of medical faculty students.

"So, ask the public to understand that this cadre has existed since 2008 on campus. We know it's part of the teaching of medical students," said Agung.

The Kapolda assured that every medical university must have a cadre so that the public does not misunderstand this condition.

"Of course we continue to work together so that medical education can be carried out which is needed," said Agung.

The Kapolda added that the cadre owned by the campus was obtained legally and was indeed used for the benefit of learning or the practice of medical faculty students.

"We have come to campus, the documents have been shown and other things are needed. It needs to be underlined for learning facilities at the campus," he said.

Previously, the Medan City Police investigated the discovery of a corpse in the Unpri parking area which had gone viral on social media.

"We are here (the campus) to find answers to the video circulating over the past two days," said Head of the Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa.
