Mahfud Explains There Was A Technical Error In The Case Of The Ministry Of Home Affairs
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD ensured that the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) made a technical error in input invitations related to complaints from a STPDN graduate who was allegedly canceled as staff at the ministry.
This was said by Mahfud on the sidelines of his visit to Lebak, Banten, Wednesday. Mahfud responded to a complaint by a user X named Nyi Maheswari regarding the alleged involvement of "insiders" within the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"I have already finished with the Ministry of Home Affairs. That was indeed the wrong invitation. Those who were inaugurated in Jakarta were those who were appointed at the center. The person concerned, Kurnia, was indeed appointed in Rokan Hilir Regency, in Riau there, so he will be sworn in there according to his SKBKN," Mahfud said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 13.
On Tuesday (12/12), Nyi Maheswari's tweet went viral on social media X. According to the user X, his younger brother, Harry Kurnia, was suddenly asked not to come to Jakarta because he had been replaced by someone else.

After Maheswari conducted a search, apparently the person who replaced his younger brother was the son of an official at the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Riau Province. Maheswari also asked for justice.
He questioned whether it was because the younger brother was not from certain circles so that the ministry could arbitrarily replace the person who would be inaugurated.
Responding to the problem, Mahfud ensured that the graduate of the Domestic Government High School (STPDN) should have been inaugurated in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau. The Ministry of Home Affairs made an administrative error so that Kurnia was invited to Jakarta.
Mahfud emphasized that the problem had been resolved. He also emphasized that the issue had nothing to do with elections and was purely just a matter of ordinary administration. The issue of the wrong invitation, said Mahfud, also did not cancel the provisions of the party concerned as a civil servant.
"That's all. There's no need to fuss anymore. It's finished," said Mahfud.
