23 Jambi Residents Become Victims Of Bodong Investment Car Investment Mode

JAMBI - Jambi Regional Police (Polda) is investigating a case of alleged fraudulent investment by applying for a car credit to be invested with a rental scheme.

Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Jambi Police, Kombes Andri Ananta Yudhistira, said that his party is currently collecting evidence and conducting an examination of the alleged fraudulent investment fraud case.

There were 23 residents of Jambi City who were victims of the fraud with a total loss of Rp. 13 billion.

"We have received the report and are being investigated, for further developments if it is proven that there are criminal allegations, we will certainly increase it from investigation to investigation," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 13.

Initially there were 21 Jambi City residents suspected of being victims of fraudulent investments by applying for car credit to be invested in the rental scheme. Then on November 8, two more victims increased to 23 people.

The attorney for the victim, Beni Ari Feriadi, said that with the report from the victim, his party hopes that the fraudulent investment case will be of concern to the Jambi Regional Police.

"Allegedly, there are still other victims who have not dared to make a report. If there are still any, don't be afraid to report it to the Jambi Police," he said.

It is known that there were 34 cars of the victims that had been given to the perpetrators, in carrying out their actions the perpetrators gave the victim a bonus lure of Rp. 2 million. Based on the victim's confession, the perpetrator said the cars would be rented to several companies.
